CNC Recruitment is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Operative to join a well-established client within in Honiton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Location: Honiton area
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary: starting from £27k p.a. [£30k p.a. after the probation period]

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general building and facility maintenance (interior and exterior)
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment and machinery
  • Assist with basic repairs to plumbing, electrics, and fixtures
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests or reactive tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety across the premises
  • Liaise with external contractors when necessary
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role
  • Good understanding of basic plumbing, electrics, and DIY tasks
  • Able to work independently and use initiative
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Health & Safety awareness

  • A valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required)
