Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our club team. You will ensure equipment is fully functioning, prioritising safety for members and colleagues, and provide an excellent experience seven days a week.

Ideal candidates will have carpentry/plumbing/electrical skills, a Pool Plant Operator qualification, and a valid driving licence to travel between clubs. Strong communication and listening abilities are essential.

• Essential: technical skills in carpentry, plumbing or electricals.
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar) required.
• Full driving licence or ability to travel between clubs within region.

Our maintenance operative team members play a vital role in our club's wellbeing. We take great pride with the environment in which we operate, and it is the Maintenance Operatives responsibility to ensure that all equipment is fully functioning, keeping the safety of members and colleagues at the forefront of everything that they do and giving our members an excellent experience every day, 7 days a week.

As a Maintenance Operative, we are looking for someone:

• Who has technical skills or discipline (i.e. Carpentry / Plumbing / Single Phase Electrics) - Essential
• Pool Plant Operators Qualification (STA or similar)
• A full driving licence or the ability to travel efficiently between clubs within your region
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
