Maintenance Operative - Surrey/Sussex - Permanent - £38,000 - Van and Fuel Card

Wheatstone Solutions are working with a Residential developer looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Maintenance Operative into the team.

Duties of the role:

1. Attend appointments for remediation of defects in occupied properties and complete any repairs or defects to a high standard.
2. Liaise with the Customer Care Team based in Head Office.
3. Ensure all required materials and resources are available prior to attending customers' appointments.
4. Always maintain a high standard of professionalism and that excellent Customer Service is delivered.
5. Maintain cleanliness of the van, ensuring it is always clean and tidy and any faults or issues are reported.
6. Ensure the customers' home is prepared prior to works to ensure utmost cleanliness on the finishing of projects.
7. Report to the team once appointments and tasks are completed and report back any issues or escalations that need to be noted.
8. Ensure the highest level of Health and Safety adhered to at all times.
9. Work with the Customer Care team to ensure that any particular build or remedial patterns are arising in customers' homes.

Skills Required:

1. You must have experience working for a House Builder / Housing Association within a similar role such as Multi Trade Technician / Operative or have experience as a Multi Trader in occupied homes.
2. Excellent Customer Service skills.
3. Multi Trade works to be carried out include Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting, Decorating, Tiling, Mastic, Easing doors/floor boards etc.
4. Flexible to travel across Surrey/Sussex and Kent areas.
5. Full Driving License.
