Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Operative to carry out reactive repairs, PPM and general upkeep across modern residential properties in London. You will work with the site team to ensure buildings are safe, compliant, and well-presented.

Responsibilities include inspections, basic trades, and supporting contractors. The role requires a proactive attitude, DBS willingness, and flexibility to shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance background and ability to perform general repairs.
• Experience in painting, decorating and building repairs.
• Customer-focused with proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Carry out reactive repairs and planned maintenance (PPM).
• Perform basic plumbing, painting, decorating and handyman repairs.
• Conduct daily building inspections using CAFM system/iPad.
• Support contractors and maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure Health & Safety and compliance standards are met.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents.

Maintenance Operative

The Role:

As a Maintenance Operative, you'll carry out reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and general building upkeep across modern residential properties. Working alongside the wider site team, you'll ensure buildings remain safe, compliant and well‑presented.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Reactive and planned maintenance (PPM)
• Basic plumbing, painting, decorating and general handyman repairs
• Daily building inspections using a CAFM system/iPad
• Supporting contractors and maintaining maintenance records
• Ensuring Health & Safety and compliance standards are met
• Delivering excellent customer service to residents

About You:

• Multi‑skilled maintenance or handyperson background
• Experience in painting, decorating and general building repairs
• Customer‑focused with a proactive, can‑do attitude
• Strong problem‑solving skills and able to work independently
• Happy working shifts, weekends and bank holidays
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
