A Typical Day

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, swimming pool, and fitness equipment
• Monitor preventative maintenance contractors to ensure equipment reliability
• Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly, such as leaks, electrical faults, and equipment malfunctions
• Troubleshoot problems and coordinate with external contractors for repairs when necessary
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and club policies
• Conduct safety checks and report hazards or non-compliance issues
• Maintain cleanliness and good repair of gym floors, changing rooms, and common areas

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a maintenance role
• Strong technical skills in building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driving license and own vehicle

Desirable qualifications include a diploma or vocational qualification in a related field, experience in plumbing and joinery, and a 17th Edition Electrical qualification or equivalent.
