Job Details

Job Title: Maintenance Operative

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Location: Covering all over South London area/ Head Office: Wrencote House, 123 High Street, Croydon CR09 0XJ

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am-6pm with 1-hour unpaid break, with availability for call outs

Contract Type: Full Time

The role

The Maintenance Operative will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks across residential block of properties including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Key duties include responding to maintenance requests, conducting property inspections, installing and repairing fixtures and appliances, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also involves keeping accurate records of work completed, collaborating with team members on larger projects, and managing maintenance tools and equipment.
