Based at a Prestigious Multi-Tenant Office Facility in Birmingham City Centre
Pertemps are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and fast-growing provider of flexible office space, for a full-time Maintenance Operative / Handyperson to join their on-site facilities team.

This role is based within a high-quality, multi-storey commercial building located in the heart of Birmingham's professional district. The site is a vibrant and modern workplace environment supporting a wide variety of businesses, offering excellent facilities and a strong community atmosphere.

The Role:
As the on-site Maintenance Operative, you'll be the go-to person for general building upkeep and reactive maintenance across the facility. You'll take pride in keeping the building running smoothly and looking its best, carrying out tasks such as:
  • Basic repairs and general maintenance (painting, fixtures, minor plumbing, etc.)
  • Regular checks on communal areas and offices to ensure safety and functionality
  • Responding to maintenance requests from occupants and team members
  • Supporting external contractors when specialist work is required
  • Helping with office moves, furniture assembly, and general upkeep

  • Practical, hands-on experience in a similar role - no formal qualifications needed
  • A good level of initiative and the ability to work independently
