Job description

MPA is delighted to be recruiting a Maintenance Officer for our well-established client, NIHE, in the Limavady area. This position is temporary full-time for 3 months initially, with an immediate start available.

Job Duties:

1. Conduct inspections of properties according to a set timetable to ensure work standards and authorize payments.
2. Advise tenants on maintenance policies, responsibilities, and provide updates on the progress of works and timeframes.
3. Report deficiencies in the maintenance service to the Contractor for remedial action.
4. Liaise with other Housing Executive staff to ensure that vacated houses are maintained and ready for re-let promptly.

Essential Criteria:

• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience managing and controlling staff.

Further Information:

• Full-time, 37 hours, Monday-Friday.
• Pay Rate: £16.37 per hour.
• Immediate start available.
• Weekly Pay.
• Holiday Fund included.
