Reporting to the Maintenance Officer, the maintenance team ensures a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure the home and grounds are kept in a good state of repair and residents have access to all appropriate areas
• Compliance with Health and Safety legislation throughout the home, including reporting of H&S incidents
• Carry out day-to-day repairs and some refurbishment activity to maintain standards in the care home
• Actively engage with staff, relatives, and families as part of the care home team and regularly engage with residents
• Ensure regular safety checks and servicing on all equipment, with accurate records kept
• Maintain excellent communication with the Home Manager and residents
