Job description

We have an opportunity in our Maintenance team with the primary objective to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our production facilities and maintain overall operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Health, Safety, and Welfare: Conduct safety inspections, ensure PPE compliance, investigate incidents, and maintain safety systems.
• Mechanical Systems Maintenance: Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical systems.
• CNC Machinery Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and repairs on CNC machines to ensure alignment and accuracy. Support electrical maintenance as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement maintenance improvements and standardize procedures.
• Contractor and Resource Management: Oversee contractors for mechanical work and manage maintenance resources.

Skills:

• Mechanical Skills: Preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical faults on systems like motors, gears, drives, pumps, and bearings. Conduct mechanical calibrations and alignments.
• CNC Machinery Skills: Hands-on experience with inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machinery to ensure operational accuracy.
• Health & Safety: Knowledge of health and safety standards. Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Management & Coordination: Coordinate with contractors and manage maintenance resources.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Friday 7:00 am to 12:00 pm

39 hours per week
