Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on industrial manufacturing equipment.
Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of mechanical systems daily.
Communicates problems to Engineers and/or leads.
Sustain and Improve Preventative Maintenance Program on all processing equipment.
Determine type of repairs to be performed, approve and suggest modifications to equipment and analyze results.
Develop or improve techniques to meet quality, function and cost standards.
Assist with technical direction to technicians in repairing, testing and troubleshooting equipment.
Utilizes predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
Observes trends and makes recommendations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties as requested.
Develop and maintain spare part inventory for applicable equipment.
Responsible for the prevention and/or mitigation of any environmental impact associated with job-related tasks, accidents, and emergency situations or conditions.
Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance tasks using CMMS system.
Basic knowledge of Pneumatics and/or Hydraulics, HVAC systems.
Electrical tasks:
Troubleshoot and replace AC and DC drives, temperature controls, start/stop electrical controls.
Troubleshoot PLCs.
Replace and wire 3-phase motors.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits.
Read electrical, building, machine and flow diagram prints.
Mechanical tasks:
Troubleshoot and repair gear boxes.
Troubleshoot and replace bearings, chains, belts, and pulleys.
Salary: Based on experience, ranging from $22.00 to $32.00 per hour.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Knowledge of the maintenance and repair of machine shop tools and equipment.
Must be motivated and have a fast-paced personality with strong work ethic.
