About the Job:

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Mitie, as we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Facilities Manager to manage Water Hygiene at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire. UHCW is one of the largest healthcare facilities in the UK, with a diverse range of specialties within the Water hygiene department.

Requirements include experience working with CAFM systems, PPM planning, reactive maintenance, and extensive knowledge of Healthcare Engineering services within Water Hygiene. Experience in hospital settings and strong analytical skills are essential.

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
• Experience with Water Hygiene, large-scale tank cleans, installation projects, tracker monitoring
• NEBOSH/IOSH certification
• Understanding of legislations such as HSG274, HTM04-0
• Valid Driving License

Main Duties:

• Appointed Responsible Person for water hygiene
• Manage subcontractors and a team of maintenance technicians
• Attend client and Water Safety Group meetings
• Review water logs and risk assessments, implement actions
• Ensure staff training and conduct Toolbox talks
• Participate in audits, create and review Water Written Scheme and SOPs
• Manage contractor relationships and performance reviews
• Review policies, investigate incidents, and participate in tendering processes
• Update asset lists, manage PPM schedules, and ensure remedial works are completed timely
• Carry out Appointed Person duties for Confined Spaces and site inductions
• Review contractor RAM and participate in On Call procedures
