Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across our North East manufacturing sites. You will ensure production equipment runs safely and efficiently while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

You will drive machine reliability, manage external contractors, and coach the maintenance team to improve technical capability and engagement in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance operations in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PPM and TPM programs.
• Understanding of electrical regulations (17th/18th Edition preferred).
• Full, clean driving licence and practical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage maintenance activities across production and facility operations.
• Drive machine reliability and reduce downtime through preventive and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, BRC, and ISO standards.
• Monitor and report maintenance KPIs and performance metrics.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
• Support capital and operational improvement projects.
• Develop and coach maintenance team members to build technical capability and engagement.
• Manage facilities maintenance requirements to ensure efficient site operations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards.
