Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in a similar role and an Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance lead/manager in heavy manufacturing
• Apprenticeship or NVQ3+ in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge for multi-skilled env
• Experience with PPM systems and reliability data
• Experience in safety-critical, high-temperature settings

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance for end-to-end manufacturing, ensuring equipment reliability
• Develop and implement a PPM and predictive maintenance strategy
• Manage KPIs: uptime, downtime, MTBF, MTTR and drive OEE improvements
• Ensure safety and quality compliance (PUWER, LOLER, permit-to-work, LOTO)
• Support CAPEX projects, installation, commissioning, and handover with Production/Engineering/Quality
