Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager for The Harrogate Inn in Harrogate. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, plan workloads for the maintenance team, and ensure safe, high‑standard services for guests.

You’ll be the go‑to for emergencies, manage contractors, and keep records while adhering to Health & Safety guidelines. With experience in construction and a strong safety mindset, you will lead a seven‑day operation, handle boilers and electrical systems, and

Qualifications

• NVQ or equivalent qualification.
• Strong Health & Safety compliance knowledge.
• Leadership skills with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Experience in the construction trade.

Responsibilities

• Daily checks on boilers, electrical systems, fire safety equipment and exterior areas.
• Oversee planned maintenance projects (e.g., painting and grouting).
• Respond to unplanned repairs and liaise with contractors as needed.
• Manage maintenance tools, stock and ensure supplies are replenished.
• Provide seven-day maintenance coverage and first contact for emergencies.
• Ensure work is recorded in the system and adheres to Health & Safety guidelines.
