Maintenance Manager – Brighton, No.124 Brighton, by GuestHouse. We are a small, stylish, family‑run boutique hotel seeking a resourceful Maintenance Manager who loves keeping things running beautifully.

Are you ready to tame a grumpy boiler, outsmart a leaky pipe, and rally a team to keep guests comfortable from rooftop to basement? If your toolkit is your trusty sidekick and your motto is "no problem too quirky," we want you leading our maintenance crew.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the maintenance department and keep daily jobs on track
  • Tackle repairs with the confidence of someone who has wrestled Victorian plumbing—and won
  • Keep our facilities safe, functional, and fabulous (from rooftop to basement)
  • Schedule and manage planned maintenance, and stay cool during emergencies
  • Work with local contractors and suppliers—friendly, firm, and available to pop round as needed
  • Be the unsung hero behind every guest's perfect stay
What We're Looking For
  • Solid experience in maintenance or facilities management
  • A practical, hands‑on skillset across electrics, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
  • Organised, proactive, and willing to roll up your sleeves
  • Ability to spot problems early and resolve them quickly
  • Experience managing compliance checks and health & safety standards
  • Brighton at heart: comfortable with sea breezes, adaptable to festive atmosphere, and creative in finding fixes
