Maintenance Manager - Aldermaston, Berkshire, RG7 4PR

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £47,000 - £64,000 per annum + pension

Location: Reading area

Let us introduce the role:

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Tools Maintenance Delivery Manager to manage and provide technical oversight of maintenance delivery. You will line manage and develop maintenance staff, ensure company assets are maintained to keep the site and its residents safe, clean, and secure, and ensure all assets comply with license conditions and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead planned maintenance and breakdown tasks on Machine Tools on site, including mechanical systems, electrical/electronic systems, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  2. Gather data and analyze results to improve Machine Tool performance using various techniques.
  3. Appraise, monitor, and arrange staff training to certify staff competence according to facility and trade assessment requirements.
  4. Monitor and ensure reasons for non-completion of maintenance tasks are valid, documented, and communicated to management.
  5. Agree on maintenance programs and schedules with facility management; assist in reviewing and developing planned maintenance programs.
  6. Delegate and develop maintenance staff, identify resource needs, and ensure skills are appropriate to meet requirements.
  7. Provide technical guidance on machine tools to enhance asset availability.
