Job Title: Resident Maintenance Manager
Location: Uttoxeter, UK
Job Type: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | On-Site
Salary: £49,500 increasing to £52,100

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Resident Maintenance Manager to lead an on-site engineering team at the client site in Uttoxeter. You will be the primary point of contact for the client, manage all maintenance operations, and ensure optimal performance of automated systems in a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers
• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance activities
• Act as the first point of contact for client escalations and incident management
• Monitor and report on KPIs and SLAs
• Conduct shift handovers and daily system checks
• Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, HR, and operational procedures
Requirements:
• HNC/ONC or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, IT, or Software Engineering
• Experience in engineering or technical environments (e.g., automation, material handling, manufacturing)
• Knowledge of PLCs, WCS/WMS systems, and SAP (desirable)
• Strong communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Competency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Other Details:
• Some UK and international travel required
• Working at Height Fitness Test and Pre-Placement Questionnaire required
