We help people find, sell and let property. We’re happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position with our lettings team based in Worthing. This role offers a realistic OTE of £33,000.

Role Overview

Let’s talk about the role. It involves:

  • Lead and support the maintenance team and contractors, ensuring clear priorities and fair workload distribution.
  • Ensure SLAs are met or exceeded for all maintenance jobs (response times, updates, completion).
  • Manage rotas, sickness, and holiday cover to ensure service continuity.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is delivered in line with legal and health & safety requirements.
  • Oversee contractor compliance and carry out quality spot checks on completed jobs and provide feedback to operatives and contractors.
  • Help refine internal systems and workflows (e.g., job tracking, communication templates).
  • Flag opportunities for cost-saving, improved efficiency, or smarter procurement.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience managing a maintenance or trades-based team.
  • Strong working knowledge of property repairs, health & safety, and contractor management.
  • Confident using systems to assign, track, and report on work (we use Fixflo & Reapit).
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised – able to explain their system for staying on top of priorities.
