The Maintenance Manager opening is working days, Monday to Friday, in the Wigan area of Manchester. This role provides an opportunity to progress within a market-leading manufacturing company. Duties of Maintenance Manager:

• Develop maintenance plans and systems, driving PPMs
• Undertake improvement projects as part of the maintenance team
• Lead and develop a small team of engineers
• Manage subcontractors and ensure safety compliance
• Identify and eliminate recurring plant issues through engineering improvements
• Maintain a hands-on/hands-off balance in responsibilities

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience managing large CAPEX and investment budgets
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, or similar roles
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• IOSH or NEBOSH training
• Experience developing and implementing PPM and TPM activities

This position is suitable for candidates with backgrounds as Maintenance Managers, Team Leaders, Engineering Managers, Supervisors, or Lead Engineers.
