Our client is a well established successful manufacturing business based near Ballymena. They are now seeking an experience Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance team and ensure the smooth running of the plant and facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team to achieve the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment both planned and unplanned e.g., regular maintenance of machinery, replacing parts on a planned basis, tasks being carried out efficiently etc.
  • Fault finding analysis and recommendations to management, dealing with emergencies and unplanned problems and repairs.
  • Comply with management systems as set out in OHSAS: 18001, ISO 90091 and ISO 14001.
  • Communicate daily with Senior Management and team on progress.
  • Complete all daily required records e.g., timesheets, faulty equipment repair request forms.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Undertake duties in relation to fire safety, as set out in the H&S Policy including upkeep of a Fire Safety Plan.
  • Hot work permits to be issued as necessary.
  • Secure workshop and equipment when fitters/helpers are not present

Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years previous maintenance experience in industrial / manufacturing maintenance setting
  • Excellent leadership skills and previous management experience
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks

Salary is negotiable depending upon experience and in the region of £50k+
