Job description

Job Description: Maintenance Manager - Leading M&E Service Provider - South East London – 55K

One of the leading maintenance contractors is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to work at a hospital based in South East London.

The role will be looking after a team of eight engineers and will be responsible for all day-to-day maintenance activities on site.

This will include, but is not limited to managing the planned and reactive maintenance schedules, attending client meetings, compiling reports, supervision of staff, and managing sub-contractors.

The role will be working Monday to Friday, day shift from 8 AM to 5 PM, with overtime and weekend work available as needed.

The site is a busy environment that requires an experienced manager who is comfortable on the tools during emergencies or dealing with paperwork.

The package includes:

  • Salary up to 55k based on experience
  • 25 days holiday

Applicants for the role must be able to meet the following criteria:

  • Fully electrically or mechanically qualified to C&G, HNC/HND Level
  • Experience of working around critical systems and plant
  • Experience of supervising engineering staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong compliance and health and safety understanding
  • Experience working in a blue-chip commercial office environment
