Overview

RCS are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to work within our busy Estates Department.

Maintenance Manager
Estates Department
Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week, 1 FTE)
Salary scale: £29,686 - £35,781 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Conservatoire’s facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas, including staff, student, public, and back of house spaces, are maintained to a high standard and provide a safe, welcoming environment for work, learning, and visitors.
  • Lead a team of Maintenance Assistants, taking a hands-on, proactive approach to day-to-day operations, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Ensure the effective use of resources across both buildings, supporting the team in delivering maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating, and other trades as required.
  • Work across the Conservatoire to deliver a smooth and safe student experience, responding to maintenance needs as they arise and ensuring planned works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Additional information

Due to the nature of the Conservatoire opening times, some weekend, evening, and night-shift work may be required.
