We are working with a key employer in the defence and facilities sector, looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee both reactive and planned maintenance across a high-profile site.

What the Role Involves:

You’ll be managing the day-to-day delivery of maintenance services, ensuring everything runs safely, smoothly, and in line with all statutory and safety regulations.

This includes:

• Overseeing performance across internal teams and supply chain partners
• Maintaining accurate documentation via CAFM systems
• Managing statutory compliance and risk mitigation (e.g., overdue mandatory tasks)
• Contributing to carbon reduction efforts and identifying opportunities for billable work
• Acting as on-call services manager when required

What You'll Need:

• ONC (or equivalent) in Building/Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering—or relevant industry experience
• Up-to-date knowledge in areas like asbestos and legionella management
• Experience managing subcontractors
• Familiarity with site-specific assets and systems
• Emergency first aid and fire safety knowledge
• Comfortable working with Safe Systems of Work
