Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at a large-scale manufacturing site in the Leicestershire area. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of complex production machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and deliver all planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site.
  • Develop, manage, and implement a preventative maintenance programme to minimise breakdowns and maximise uptime.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team, driving performance against KPIs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
  • Implement corrective and preventative safety measures, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory in collaboration with the stock control function.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control the annual maintenance budget.
  • Ensure accurate logging and reporting of activities within the maintenance management system.
  • Contribute to the improvement of reliability processes, ensuring production lines operate at optimum efficiency.
