Engineering Manager – Maintenance Manager

Salary: £55,000

Shift: Monday – Friday Days

Location: Dudley, Stourbridge, Birmingham, Wolverhampton

Job Description:

Madisons Engineering are working with a leading national processing plant who are currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager. This is the PERFECT ROLE for a senior engineer or a maintenance team leader looking to step up into a more managerial role. The Engineering Manager will play a major role in the planning of projects and organizing the maintenance team on the machinery, improving efficiencies, and being involved in CAPEX projects. This is a great opportunity to join as an Engineering Manager as the company has big plans for the future.

Skills required for the Engineering Manager:

• Control and manage maintenance activities using preventative measures to minimize risk of downtime.
• Implement a planned maintenance system.
• Ensure rapid response to breakdowns and efficient follow-up to identify corrective actions.
• Co-ordinate all activities associated with CAPEX applications and delivery of approved projects.
• Deliver great leadership and coaching to staff across the business.
• Plan, co-ordinate, and manage all site engineering and maintenance activities, safely and within agreed budget.
• Ensure that all engineers and suppliers are compliant with SHEQ expectations.
• Engineering Manager must have an engineering qualification.
