AO RETAIL LIMITED in Telford (UK) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a 24/5 plastics plant, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of all plant and equipment.
You will manage maintenance delivery through supervisors and multi-skilled technicians, drive a strong preventive maintenance culture, and report to the Plastics Plant Manager.
This role requires PLC/automation knowledge, CMMS ownership, and a commitment to health, safety, and contractor management.
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at our plastic plant in Telford, a 24/5 operational site. This is a role with full responsibility for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant and equipment across the site. You will lead maintenance delivery across a complex, highly automated plastic plant, managing supervisors and multi-skilled technicians and driving a strong planned maintenance culture. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with Operations and senior site leadership team and will report to the Plastics Plant Manager. The Site & Operation AO is one of the UK's largest recyclers of fridges and Large Domestic Appliances (LDA). The recycling facility operates 24/7 and includes:
