Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a proactive maintenance team and uphold the highest standards across the property. You will own safety, security and compliance, ensuring accurate records and well‑maintained facilities.
Responsibilities include recruiting and developing staff, managing stock, forecasting and budgeting while delivering outstanding guest experiences in a luxury setting.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Manager at Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

As our Maintenance Manager, you will lead a motivated team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards across the hotel. You will take ownership of all safety, security and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate health and safety records and a consistently well‑maintained property.
You will recruit, train and develop your team, uphold brand standards and ensure all maintenance operations run efficiently. The role requires calm, confident decision‑making, strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
A solid understanding of stock control, forecasting and budgeting is essential. Most importantly, you will bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a passion for creating an outstanding guest experience as part of our Hand Picked team.
This is a full‑time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.
Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.
