We have an exciting opportunity to assist in the delivery of a magic service, within the role of Maintenance Manager at The Queens Hotel and Spa.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will need to be organized, confident with a can-do attitude, and have experience in property maintenance with a good attention to detail. You should be able to work proactively across the group of properties.

In this role, you will need to master the art of versatility and inject energy while completing various duties. The main responsibilities include:

  • Possessing strong skills in plumbing, basic electrics, portable appliance testing, decorating, and general property maintenance, with the ability to train others in these disciplines.
  • Having a good understanding of compliance in hospitality and hotels, including risk assessments, project management, and supervising contractors.
  • Liaising with the Management Company to adopt best practices for day-to-day management.
  • Checking that work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and in compliance with hotel standards, and following up on deficiencies.
  • Carrying out timely repairs across the hotel, coordinating with third parties if required.
  • Responding promptly to Housekeeping maintenance requests.
  • Ensuring all reports, returns, and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Being on call as needed to maintain hotel services for guests and the business.
