Job description

The Maintenance Manager leads a team that drives end-to-end technical performance in asset management, ensuring maximum value creation as part of the site's master plan. The role involves collaboration with the Plant Leadership Team (PLT) and global functions such as Asset Management, Engineering, Process Innovation, and Centers of Excellence (COEs). The manager will focus on enhancing equipment reliability, implementing standard processes to improve efficiency and capacity, and supporting daily operations. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the asset management roadmap to optimize factory capacity and costs.
  2. Building and developing a high-performing team with long-term succession plans.
  3. Overseeing CapEx projects in coordination with suppliers and global standards.
  4. Ensuring adherence to engineering master plans and implementing technical improvements aligned with BC's policies.
  5. Standardizing maintenance procedures and advancing digitization efforts.
  6. Developing team capabilities for cost control, zero breakdowns, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  7. Leading initiatives for business continuity, energy cost reduction, and carbon footprint reduction.
  8. Participating in technology platforms and sharing equipment knowledge for standardization and efficiency.
  9. Managing maintenance of utilities and facilities in compliance with standards and legislation.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience in Project Portfolio Management.
  • Knowledge of digital systems supporting maintenance and engineering.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Over 5 years of leadership experience managing large teams in maintenance and engineering.
  • Technical understanding of equipment, systems, and facilities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing protocols like GMP and HACCP.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
