Overview:

LUV Car Wash, founded in September 2021, has rapidly expanded to over 70 locations across 6 states: CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ. We are looking for a dedicated Site Maintenance Lead to oversee the operation and maintenance of our express car wash locations. This role reports directly to the General Manager and is vital in maintaining equipment functionality and customer satisfaction. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to advance within LUV’s Facilities Maintenance Department.

Position Summary:

The Site Maintenance Lead ensures the efficient operation and maintenance of car wash locations. Reporting to the General Manager, this role involves working with the team to uphold high standards of equipment functionality and customer service. Pathways for career growth are available within the Facilities Maintenance Department.

Reports To: General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform weekly and monthly preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and address equipment issues promptly.
  • Perform repairs or coordinate with external technicians for complex issues.
  • Participate in Sonny's College Repair and Maintenance courses and apply learned skills.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and report shortages or needs.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades or process improvements.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, including vehicle loading, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to bend, push, pull, and carry objects.

Qualifications:

  • Must be recommended by the General Manager to apply.

  • Positive attitude, reliable, and punctual.
  • Sense of urgency with friendly and courteous demeanor.
