Bournville is the home of Cadbury, and we are now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join us here at Mondelez International.

Your goal will be to ensure that the site manufacturing & support activities run without interruption, without any facilities shortages or issues. You will achieve 100% compliance with local legal regulations, quality, health, safety, & environment management systems, and standards. You are responsible for managing and maintaining site facilities, buildings, and equipment (hardware & software).

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing Area M&R: Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of M&R resources within the area. Develop and monitor the M&R budget for maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects. Collaborate with the section manager and reliability lead to optimize financial performance.
  • Area Audits: Conduct regular audits to assess the condition and performance of equipment, systems, and processes. Identify risks, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Area Metrics: Monitor KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR to evaluate equipment reliability. Analyze trends, propose strategies for improvement, and report findings to management.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate failures and incidents, conduct thorough analyses, and develop corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate this process.
  • Managing Area Technicians: Supervise and guide technicians, coordinate schedules and training, ensure safety and quality compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Daily Actions from the Section Manager: Receive instructions, communicate, coordinate, and update on operational progress.
  • Strategy from the Reliability Lead: Collaborate on long-term strategies for equipment reliability, align maintenance plans, and incorporate reliability practices into daily operations.
What You Will Bring

Desire to advance your career with experience and knowledge in:

  • Operational & manufacturing leadership in CPG industry, with experience in TPM, 5S, LEAN, Six Sigma, safety, and GMP standards.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and automation basics. Experience with SAP PM module and spare parts management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, leadership skills, problem-solving, and team-building abilities.

The responsibilities are performed within a regional business model managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland. No relocation support is available.
