The position of Maintenance Joiner will be based at the Prestwich site, with a percentage of the time supporting GMMH buildings on the site and covering all locations throughout the Trust. This may change depending on the needs of the service.
To carry out the repair, maintenance, or installation of all elements of building structure and fabric associated with all Trust properties. This includes Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), fault finding, emergency response, defect correction, and minor works.
The post-holder will be part of a strong site-based team, acting as the first line Building Maintenance Technician for all day-to-day breakdowns, repairs, and planned preventative maintenance works. The role requires working around building fabric, utilizing core skills.
You should be versatile, able to handle conflicting priorities in a hospital environment, and possess excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with both technical and non-technical staff. Significant building services experience and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
