Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Joiner to carry out planned maintenance and responsive repairs across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. You’ll use your joinery skills to complete repairs safely and to a high standard, working independently and alongside the wider maintenance team.

Knowledge of fire doors and fire door compliance is important for this role, and you will follow company procedures, health and safety requirements while maintaining accurate records and contributing

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification in Joinery.
• Substantial practical joinery experience including maintenance and repair work.
• Knowledge of fire doors and fire door compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery repairs and planned maintenance across a range of properties.
• Assess reported faults and complete appropriate repairs within agreed timescales.
• Apply knowledge of fire doors to identify defects and complete work within competence and training.
• Follow company procedures, site instructions and health and safety requirements.
• Use tools, plant and equipment safely and correctly.
• Complete accurate job records, timesheets and other required documentation.
• Work closely with colleagues and line manager to progress maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a tidy working area and provide a professional service to building users and clients.

About The Role:
