Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for 2 Maintenance handypersons to support the facilities management team that houses 760 residential students based in Wembley.

The building is 19 Floors and has 760 individual living spaces for students.

Responsibilities

• The role involves completing day to day basic repairs, changing light bulbs, plumbing, repairing doors / windows hinges and locks, repairs to furniture, as well as completing planned maintenance and inspections.

Schedule

Working week is Monday to Friday 10am-6.00pm however there will be weekend and out of hours on call opportunities as well.

Requirements

• The role involves working in and around foreign students and their residential location so the ideal candidate needs to be customer orientated and conscious of the working environment and the code of conduct whilst at work.
• Candidates must have a proven work history for the last three years and relevant experience.
• A basic DBS check will be carried out before employment can be offered.
