Job Description

Greif is a leading supplier of industrial packaging products and services, with a global presence in more than 35 countries and over 200 locations. We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter with a mechanical bias to support our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in maintaining the plant for maximum effectiveness, emphasizing safety, output, quality, and cost efficiency using the Greif Business System.
  • Perform preventative maintenance within manufacturing parameters.
  • Monitor processes and equipment, report variances, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify potential improvements to enhance customer service and project outcomes.

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 06:30-15:00 (single shift).

Qualifications & Skills
  • Completed a recognized mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Experience with modern manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, resilience, and a positive attitude.
  • Experience operating pneumatic and hydraulic equipment from PLC/HMI control.
  • Knowledge of resistance welding machines, power presses, gas-fired ovens, spray booths, metal forming machines, helium leak testing, pallet wrapping, and strap banding machines.
  • Fork-lift truck certification is preferred; training can be provided.

Formal training and qualifications will be provided as needed.
