Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the maintenance of the plant for maximum effectiveness.
  2. Emphasize safety, output, quality, and cost by utilizing the Greif Business System.
  3. Work within the manufacturing parameters of preventative maintenance.
  4. Monitor processes and equipment, report variances, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  5. Identify potential improvements to enhance customer service and achieve project objectives.
  6. Working hours: Monday-Friday, single shift pattern.
Education & Skills:
  1. Completed a recognized mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent.
  2. Experience with modern manufacturing techniques.
  3. Attributes include resilience, a positive attitude, assertiveness, and high determination.
  4. Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
  5. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment operated from PLC/HMI control.
  6. Experience with resistance welding machines (spot, projection, seam, circumferential).
  7. Experience with power presses up to 200T, mechanical key, and friction clutch.
  8. Formal training and qualification will be provided.
  9. Experience with in-direct gas-fired process ovens, automatic spray booths, metal forming machines, helium leak testing, pallet wrapping, and strap banding machines.
  10. Fork-lift truck training will be offered if not already certified.
