Job Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Plant Engineering

Doncaster Plant

We are currently seeking to strengthen its operation with the recruitment of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at its Doncaster site, reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader in the Plant Engineering Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM)
  • Attending Breakdowns
  • Ensure adequate stores and equipment spares to maintain functioning of plant
  • General Factory Mechanical Maintenance
  • Provide support for critical plant functions as and when required
  • Communicate with colleagues and management to establish and maintain a well-informed team
  • Work as part of an effective team to manage & control the workload throughout the shift

Required skills / qualifications:

  • Gained a recognised Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years engineering experience
  • Good understanding of the production and packaging processes
  • Have good attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce and read engineering drawings
