Due to continued demand for their products & services, this employer is actively seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join their highly skilled team on a permanent basis.

Based in Huddersfield, the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Rochdale, Oldham, Halifax, Bradford, Wakefield, and Leeds.

The Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for:

• Reactive & preventative maintenance of all internal plant including CNC and manual machine tools, welding & fabrication, and lifting equipment
• Involvement in new projects & investment, including the installation of new machinery
• Accurately documenting and reporting on reactive & preventative maintenance/service work
• Occasionally assisting the production/manufacturing department where required

Working hours for the Mechanical Fitter:
37 hours per week, spread across a Monday-Thursday day shift pattern, with the opportunity for regular overtime

• Monday to Thursday: 06:30 to 16:15

In return, the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will receive:

• Annual Salary: between £33,000 and £37,000, depending on experience & ability
• Company pension enrollment after a successful probation period
• Permanent employment with a long-established & growing business
