Key Responsibilities

We’re seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our operations team based at our Naunton Quarry, located in the beautiful Cotswolds. As a Maintenance Fitter at Breedon, you’ll enjoy building relationships with the team and supporting both preventative and reactive maintenance projects to keep our plant operational. It’s fantastic if you have some basic welding knowledge or experience, as we will provide full training in welding and fabrication.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll work closely with our Quarry Management team, supporting all preventative maintenance activities across the site. This role is crucial to ensuring the plant's uptime, so a sense of responsibility and a willingness to tackle problems head-on are key. The role involves working weekdays with core hours of 7 am to 5 pm, as well as occasional Saturdays (approximately 2 in 4).

Do you have?

• Experience in a maintenance or mechanical engineering role.
• Basic knowledge of welding - we are happy to train you!
• Knowledge of fabrication
• A proactive maintenance mindset and mechanically minded approach.
• A full UK driving licence.
