Maintenance Fitter

Location: Consett
Salary: £34,777.58 per annum
Job Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:00pm; Friday, 7:30am – 2:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing business in Consett. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
3. Ensure compliance with safety standards.
4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role.
2. Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or related field.
