Join a leading company committed to excellence in the automotive manufacturing industry. We're looking for a proactive and results-driven Maintenance/Facilities Manager to lead the maintenance team, ensure the efficient operation of our facilities, and drive continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance operational efficiency.
Manage a team of 25-30 employees and contractors, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance schedules and optimize downtime.
Coordinate facility improvements, expansions, and new equipment acquisitions.
Monitor and improve key maintenance metrics, including cost, asset utilization, and schedule compliance.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Lead the budget planning process and ensure financial targets are met.
Drive the development of maintenance procedures to improve quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct regular safety, performance, and employee relations meetings to support a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
A college diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a technical field (Millwright, Electrical, Tool & Die).
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in maintenance, ideally within manufacturing or automotive environments.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with preventative maintenance programs, scheduling, and resource planning.
Familiarity with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
