Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance and Facilities Manager to join an established manufacturing company in Coventry.

The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment, building systems, and infrastructure, with a focus on compliance, safety, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Plant and Equipment Management

• Oversee maintenance and repairs of all production equipment.
• Plan and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate PAT testing and maintain records.
• Maintain the plant register and asset database.
• Manage decommissioning of machinery.
• Act as Responsible Person for LOLER and LEV compliance.

Building & Facilities

• Manage building services installations and upgrades.
• Maintain Legionella and emergency lighting records.
• Maintain and repair building infrastructure including HVAC and gas appliances.
• Lead refurbishment and repair projects.

Security and Safety

• Oversee site security systems and access control.
• Act as keyholder and manage access credentials.
• Liaise with alarm monitoring services.
• Ensure contractor compliance with safety procedures.
• Support emergency plans and incident management.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification (experience considered).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
