Supports the development and systematic deployment of the Corporate Mining Technical Standards and Safety Guidelines. This role aims to define maintenance strategies, policies, and guidelines for all mines of ArcelorMittal. The primary focus is to reduce risks inherent to operational and maintenance activities across the Group by applying a strong Process Safety Management system.
The function includes standardizing maintenance processes across all mining units and continuously seeking innovations and best industry practices.
Acting as the second layer of assurance in the Mining Governance Structure, the job holder will participate in benchmarking activities and be involved in all aspects of strategic maintenance projects, from planning to execution. They will ensure that the technical corporate standards are effectively implemented across ArcelorMittal mining operations and measure compliance levels against these standards.
Additionally, this role involves supporting the unit’s management teams by providing guidance, technical expertise, training, and sharing knowledge through communities of practice.
