Maintenance Engineer (Workshop & Field Based)

35,000 - 37,500 OTE up to 50k + Monday to Friday, 40hrs (7:30-3:30pm) + Weekend Rota (8-10 average in a year) + Travel Paid + Overtime + Career Progression + Industry-Leading Training + Excellent Company Benefits

Owned by a global holdings company, this organisation are a leading contractor for Network Rail. They have secured a number of engineering contracts for 2025 and offer unrivalled job security within the industry. They pride themselves on their industry-leading training and excellent remuneration packages.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a fleet of rail vehicles. You will be exposed to engineering challenges that cover mechanics, electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics and will be provided with full training. You will be supported through a number of industry specific qualifications to launch your career.

This role would suit an engineer with NVQ (or similar) qualifications looking for a new position in a stable and secure industry. Ex-Forces individuals are encouraged to apply (Army/REME/RAF/Navy etc).

The Role:
Reactive and planned maintenance on a fleet of rail vehicles.
Covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic engineering challenges.
Predominantly site based with the occasional travel to sites along the network rail infrastructure.

The Person:
Hold an engineering qualification in any discipline. (Either Level 2 or 3)
Previous experience within a maintenance background is highly advantageous.
Happy to work outside in any weather conditions.
