Job summary

Polyframe, part of SWPF Group, in Lenwade, Norfolk, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer on a Monday–Friday rotating early/late shift pattern. Salary is £47,196 per annum with 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, and a two-week rotation.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance and push for improvements to keep line equipment running reliably. The role focuses on reducing downtime, supporting production, and driving maintenance excellence with opportunities for skills development and

Qualifications

• Significant maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial plants.
• Mechanical or electrical qualification is ideal.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and coordinate access to equipment.
• Investigate root causes of faults and implement improvements.
• Identify and request parts needed for maintenance and repairs.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance and Front Line Maintenance activities.
• Help improve equipment reliability, product quality and production throughput.
