Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking a Maintenance Lecturer for Basildon, Essex. The role involves delivering practical and theoretical Maintenance Engineering lessons within a Further Education college, supporting learners across related programmes with strong practical and technical skill development.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Engineering or a related discipline and substantial industry experience in engineering maintenance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Engineering, Maintenance or a relevant discipline.
• Strong industry experience within engineering maintenance.
• Teaching or assessing qualification preferred, or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and theoretical Maintenance Engineering lessons within an FE College.
• Support learners across relevant Maintenance and Engineering programmes, helping them develop strong practical and technical skills.
• Deliver training across hydraulics, pneumatics, bench fitting and general engineering maintenance.
• Assess learner progress, maintain accurate records and promote high standards of health and safety.
