My client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Service Engineer in the East London area to work as the sole engineer on a prestigious site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general building service maintenance and HVAC systems, along with experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance.

This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out general PPMs.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility in a safe manner.
  • Emergency light testing.
  • Carry out basic fabric works.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Basic plumbing.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Air Handling Units (filter changes).
