Job summary

A leading consulting firm based in Glasgow is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on integrated systems. This role demands strong engineering knowledge and proficiency in test equipment, while also requiring the candidate to be the primary contact for maintenance contracts. Ideal candidates will have an electrical or mechatronics diploma and have outdoor work experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating RF / MV and electronics test and measuring equipment.
• Possess strong engineering knowledge in RF/Satcom Comms/Electro-Mechanical System.
• Candidate with previous MINDEF experience is an additional advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance works on integrated systems.
• Manage maintenance KPIs and act as customer point of contact.
• Perform rotational 24/7 standby services for urgent recovery work.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform in corrective maintenance works with given documents, diagrams etc, of integrated systems consisting of electrical, mechanical and electronic subsystems
• Perform preventive maintenance works at customer’s premises located in outdoor areas
• Perform rotational 24/7 standby services for urgent recovery work at MINDEF premises when activated
• Manage maintenance KPI
• Assist in Tenders/Quotations
• To be customer point of contact for maintenance contracts and prospects

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics and Communication, Electrical or Mechatronics
• Proficiency in operating RF / MV and electronics test and measuring equipment
• Possess strong engineering knowledge in RF/Satcom Comms/Electro-Mechanical System
• Candidate with previous MINDEF experience is an additional advantage
• Only Singaporean
• Good communication skills, self-motivating, love outdoor work
• Work location: Ang Mo Kio
