Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment company is seeking a Contract Maintenance Engineer to join a packaging manufacturer in West London. You'll be responsible for maintaining high-speed production lines, performing both mechanical and some electrical repairs. Rate: Outside IR35 LTD or Umbrella

Hours: 6am-3pm or 7am-2pm

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Contract Maintenance Engineer to join a packaging manufacturer in West London. This is a hands-on, long-term contract where you'll keep high-speed production lines running smoothly in a modern, well-invested site.

Responsibilities

• Preventive and reactive maintenance of machinery


• Mainly Mechanical with some electrical fault finding and repairs


• Work on conveyors and automated production equipment


• Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Apprenticeship / NVQ / C&G)


• Hands-on experience as a Maintenance Engineer in FMCG manufacturing


• Multi-skilled preferred (mechanical & electrical)


• Ability to use initiative in a fast-paced environment
